There’s no shortage of musical talent in this country, but it takes a lot of hard graft to get to a certain level of success, especially if you’re a hard rock band. LLUTHER are an Irish band on a mission, and since their debut album 3 years ago, lead songwriter Gerry Owens has been striving to make the band a success, and today’s download is testament to that.

Lluther’s music is genuine, accessible rock and Stuart Clarke from Hotpress is already a fan, saying “Fantastic songs, big production with an epic sound…I am impressed!” They’re set to release their new album Rise of the Reptile King later this year, but the first single from it, In the Dollhouse, is released today.

Three years after the release of their debut Agents Of The Empire album, LLUTHER are back with a new single, ‘In The Dollhouse’, which is already causing major MySpace interest.

The Gerry Owens-fronted outfit are releasing two tracks a month until September. These are all culled from Rise Of The Reptile King, an album and film, which includes Pink Floyd’s The Wall, Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino among its influences.
